Support

Annual Fund

Each year, Louisville Collegiate School relies on the generosity of alumni to support Collegiate.

The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of all giving to Louisville Collegiate School and supports the ongoing day-to-day operational expenses of the school. It allows us to attract and retain talented faculty and provide exceptional academic, arts and athletic programs. Annual Fund gifts provide the school with the financial support necessary to remain healthy, innovative and accessible. Annual donations make a difference to our entire school community as it supplements the operational budget for the school. You can even give in honor of a teacher, coach, or classmate who influenced your years at Collegiate. Your gift—no matter the size—strengthens the school community by demonstrating the alumni’s support of Collegiate. We ask alumni to make a donation once each school year (July 1 through June 30).

Second Century Alumni Campaign – The Alumni Crossing

For the first time in Collegiate’s history, participating alumni have the opportunity to see their names permanently displayed by class within the school! In September, the Alumni Association jump-started the Community Phase of Collegiate’s Second Century Campaign with a pledge of $30,000 (from their general fund), towards an overall goal of $100,000 for Alumni.

Achieving this goal will give the alumni the naming right to The Alumni Crossing. The Alumni Crossing is a wide, second-floor corridor that connects three buildings at the heart of campus. The Alumni Crossing forms the intersection of the original Glenmary Campus, now housing the Lower School, the Speed Middle School, and The Brown Arts Center, which serves all three divisions. The Alumni

Crossing also serves as an entrance to the new Speed Commons and The Terrace, overlooking the campus field. This space is a prime location not only for student-centered activities but also for Alumni meetings, gatherings, and special presentations.

While Alumni may no longer be on campus daily, they are an important part of both Collegiate’s history and future. As a bridge between Collegiate’s first and second century-buildings, The Alumni Crossing will display a class-by-class listing of alumni who make a $100 or more gift to honor Collegiate’s second century. By making your $100 or more donation today, we will be one step closer to naming The Alumni Crossing, and your name will be on the permanent display.
