Head of School Search

Position Description from Diversified Search – May 2, 2018

Dear Collegiate Community,

We are excited to share with you the official Position Description document for our Head of School Search. As you know, this represents the culmination of several months of work by our search firm, Diversified Search, which gathered the thoughts of the entire Collegiate community via personal interviews, group meetings and our online survey, which received nearly 400 responses! Thanks to everyone who participated in this process to date.

The entire Search Committee was actively involved in the drafting process of the PD. Pete Gillin and Kim Morrison, our Diversified Search consultants, carefully reviewed all the suggestions made by the Committee and incorporated as much as possible into the Position Description to ensure that it provides a clear and comprehensive road map for those seeking to apply.

As we head toward the end of the school year and into the summer months, we can expect our team at Diversified Search will be hard at work fielding inquiries as well as reaching out to professionals they think could be qualified candidates. We, the Search Committee, will continue to conference monthly with Diversified during this period and we expect to convene at the end of the summer to review our first slate of potential candidates. At that time, we will provide another update.

Please feel free to share this document with anyone you think might be a good candidate for our next Head of School. You may also forward any suggestions to Pete Gillin or Kim Morrison at Diversified.

Thanks again for your continued support and a special thank you to our Search Committee members for their time and talents. We hope you are enjoying the beautiful spring weather that has finally come our way!
