All Middle and Upper School parents/guardians are invited to attend one of the Substance Use Prevention Workshops with Caitlyn Smith from Prevention Solutions.

Both presentations will be in the Street Learning Commons. The program will also be available virtually on our YouTube channel.

Prevention Solutions encourages parents and families to be active participants in student substance use prevention through their own education and engagement. Parent/guardian involvement is a key component of effective prevention. Some of the topics to be addressed include the following:

• Up-to-date facts about current national substance use trends and feedback from our students about substance use culture and trends at LCS
• Effective ways to communicate with your child about substances
• How to spot early warning signs of use and effective ways to respond
