Middle School Robotics Team Qualifies for World Championships

Congratulations to Collegiate’s Middle School robotics team, “Rare S.T.E.A.K.S” who won the Middle School State Robotics Tournament over the weekend. They now qualify for the World Championships. We are so proud of both Middle School teams who qualified for the State Tournament and look forward to cheering them on at the World Championships!

 

Here is a quote from the head referee at regionals about the Collegiate team, “Congratulations to you and the entire Rare S.T.E.A.K.S. team!  Your team truly stood out this year as the best overall and will represent Kentucky amazingly well at Worlds.”

 

The Rare S.T.E.A.K.S. (Sophisticated Talented Energetic Awesome Kid Superheroes) team includes Brandon Coole ’28, Matthew Dietz ’28, Will Gahan ’28, Henry Green ’28, Nessa Kaplan ’28, Sophia Lee ’28, Pierson Rooprai ’28, and Mustafa Sattaur ’28. The team is coached by Jon Coole P’28, ’30, Middle School Science and Robotics Instructor, and Paul Rooprai P’28, ’30.
