Construction Update

For nearly a century, Louisville Collegiate School’s 1927 Auditorium has been the heart of our campus. It is where students gather for Morning Meetings, where performances come to life, and where our community celebrates milestones together.

Today, this beloved space no longer meets the needs of our growing and vibrant school.

Through the Inspire Campaign, we are transforming the Auditorium and front entrance to create a space that welcomes our community, strengthens campus security, and supports the performing arts for generations to come.

We are excited to share that renovations to Collegiate’s Auditorium and Front Entrance will begin in September. Throughout the project, we’ll share construction updates as this exciting vision comes to life. 

The renovations will provide:

A Welcoming Front Entrance

A new vestibule and entrance will create a stronger sense of arrival, add an important layer of campus security, and honor our historic neighborhood.

A Reimagined Auditorium Experience

Tiered seating will improve visibility and engagement so every student, family member, and guest has a better experience.

Improved Performance and Gathering Spaces

Renovated lobby and backstage areas will better support students, performers, and visiting speakers.

Modern Sound and Lighting

A new tech mezzanine will provide the sound and lighting capabilities needed for performances, assemblies, and community events.
