International Applicants

All student applicants must have a SEVIS Student and Exchange Visitor Information Service generated I-20 issued by an educational institution approved by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which they submit when they are applying for their student visa. SEVP stands for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program and differs from the SEVIS. The consular officer will need to verify your I-20 record electronically through the SEVIS system in order to process your student visa application. Unless otherwise exempt, participants whose SEVIS I-20 was issued on or after September 1, 2004, must pay a SEVIS I-901 Fee to the DHS for each individual program. Once the application requirements have been completed and submitted, Collegiate will schedule a Skype interview and review the student’s file. If the student is accepted, an enrollment agreement will be issued.

When the School receives the completed enrollment agreement, an I-20 will be issued. The School must have a copy of the student’s F-1 VISA once it is issued. It can be mailed, emailed, or faxed.

Collegiate provides language support through structured academic labs but we do not have a formal ESL/ELL program. All students who apply must be proficient in the English language with respect to reading, listening, comprehension, speaking, and writing.
