Middle School students attended Kentucky Youth Assembly (KYA) this past week. The House and Senate passed four out of the five bills, and the KYA governor signed them.
Siobhan Bell ’27 and Daphne Lieberfreund ’27 led the conference as committee chairs. Their peers nominated them to lead several sessions in the Capitol annex in Frankfort.
David Berzansky ’27 was selected as an outstanding delegate from our school. Eliza Lewis ’27 ran a campaign for presiding officer, and her peers elected her as President of the House. The YMCA named our school as a Premier Delegation. Congratulations on a successful KYA!
