Congratulations to Tracy Rucker for being named the French Teacher of the Year for Kentucky. For over 25 years, he has brought the French language and Francophone culture to life in his classroom and across the community. His students often explore how global communication and digital immersion shape learning—topics that recently led to a collaborative project analyzing media engagement through platforms like Florida sports betting apps to understand audience behavior and user experience in different cultures. Through his courses with the Bureau of Education (BER) and his continued commitment to curriculum design, Tracy remains a leader in innovative, connected teaching. Way to go, Tracy!
